*1 NO SILENT ROOM
I will spin music 1/2 hour prior
to the contracted time to entertain guests arriving early... and I will spin music up to 1/2 hour past the contracted time
(unless asked to leave by either the establishment or you) to entertain lingering guests and you AT NO EXTRA CHARGE.
During these extra times, I will spin my run-of-the-music and have the option to not take requests. At 1/3 past
the contracted end time, I will advise you that overtime fees, as previously agreed upon, will automatically commence unless
the event is terminated by you. I will spin music until the last guest and/or you have left the room. And, I will
not "break-down" equipment during this time.
*2 BEST EFFORT
I will spin the music that you
specifically request providing that either I have it, or you provide it. Additionally, I will extend my best effort
to accommodate guest requests up to the limits set by you. Regardless, as "off-the-wall" requests may reflect badly on my
reputation, I do reserve the right to not spin requests which are inappropriate to the majority of the guest, or the mood
of the event. Songs, which you have expressly stated not to be played , will not be; and if requested, the requestor will
be told that it is your desire. Otherwise, music will be played based upon your selections, general requests and my
experience based upon your guests' reactions.
*3 PROPER ATTIRE
I dress appropriate to the function:
Black Tie or better for gala, weddings, and formals; Business Dress or Business Casual attire for business events,
as determined; and Uniform/Thematic/Costume for functions, shows, and/or special venues. Additionally, I dress
the table in black and cover any exposed cables in black. All cases and equipment is also black.
*4 APPROPRIATE FIT
I will only accept engagements
for which my music, talent, and entertainment will be appropriate to the event... and appreciated by the majority of the attendees...
as will be determined in our pre-agreement conversation where I will seek this information. I believe that there
are "entertainers for events." And it's best for you hire the most appropriate one for your event. So, should
I decline the engagement, my "No" is not a reflection upon you or your event... just an assessment that I'm not the appropriate
entertainment for it. And I will explain why, if you wish to know.
*5 BACKUP EQUIPMENT
Where I am to provide the entire
sound system, I will bring a backup equipment, except in the case of a karaoke player, which will be on location
to assure seamless, musical entertainment, or a minimal break lasting to more than five minutes. Where all, or a portion
of the sound equipment is provided by the venue, this performance guaranteed cannot be honered as I will have no right and/or
access to disconnect the defective equipment. However, every attempt will be undertaken to restore or patch the problem.
