.
Life Celebrations, Corporate Functions, Grand Galas, Themed Events, even Social Military Events are
gatherings that "make life worth living."
However, we are at war... and there are people sacrificing lives, limbs, income, and family structures
to voluntarily serve this country under a duty to the Commander In Chief.
Whatever one may think about the Commander's judgement, one cannot question the patriotism of the
troops who serve him.
Music has always used by artist & songwriters to both rally and nation as well as have the
nation reflect on it purpose and leadership.
Within this site, is a mini-site linking four songs having different messages... and yet great meaning.
Within one page, "Some Gave All" ( the last link to the right ), is a link
called, "In Honor," which opens to a external site provided by Military City. IF YOU CLICK THIS LINK... YOU
WILL BE DISTURBED, for it shows photos and bios of our troops who have paid the ultimate price in Iraq / Afganistan Wars.
The current administration (for which I voted) refuses to show the REAL COST
OF WAR by not permitting the filming of coffins returning to Dover AFB. This is a national disgrace, cloaked in artifice
that such a tribute would negatively impact the war. (Polls show the negativity exists
even without the footage.) Regardless of all the political rhetoric and showing-off
a single troop being honored at each State of the Union Speech, this prohibition is the ultimate dishonor to troops who
served... and gave all... plus to those who have been so severely wounded that life as they knew it before serving
has also died.
For myself, I want no part of this dishonor... and so I provide the "In Honor" link
for visitors who want to pay tribute as well. I know that most visitors will.
As I stated at the top... Life Celebrations, Corporate Functions, Grand Galas, Themed Events, House
Parties, even Social Military Events are gatherings that "make life worth living," But this is true ONLY for us
who are alive and free from the sorrow the war's loss.
So, to all in the military and veterans, plus family, friends and survivors, I offer this
musical salute to your remarkable patriotism and sacrifice.
