There are factors which can drastically alter this time. Besides her Solid Gold voice (and the Solid Gold Dancers) what remains most remarkable about the show to me are the two guys (Andy Gidd 1981-1982 and Rex Smith 1982-1983) who the producers put with Marilyn before settling on her, alone for the 1983-1984 season.  Let's face it, it was a show of good looking, talented women... And even men, who would otherwise be attractive, looked drab compared to Marilyn, and sounded much the same.    Andy Gibb was the fourth and youngest brothers of Barry, Robin, and Maurice Gibb... better known as "The Bee Gees."  However, except for a few ocassions, he did not sing with the Bee Gees.  However, he had a MONSTER solo run from 5/77 to 11/78 wduring which he charted 4 GOLD Records and 1 Platinum.   Rex Smith was from the theater.
