You are listening to "When The Saints Go Marching
In" sung live by none other than
Louis "Satchmo" Armstrong.

Number!
SATCHMO
Well, where can I say about Satchmo that
(1) hasn't been said or (2) that wouldn't take another whole website to explain. Simply this: Satchmo was unquestionably
this nation's Ambassador of Goodwill within the country and to the world. He transcended race, nationalism, wealth,
and every other bias which humankind uses as artifices. SATCHMO WAS THE REAL DEAL!
Unfortunately, most of Satchmo's music is poorly recorded by today's
standards. The cut of the "The Saints " to which your are listening is perhaps one of his better. Based on the
clarity of the other instruments, it appears that "Satch" had his horn muted, thus giving the thinner sound.
And... if you have gotten to the end of this footnote before
the hearing last part of the cut, you are in for another Satchmo treat... that is if you remember his music. Just wait.

ABOUT THE ARTIST CLAUDE THEBERGE
ClaudeTheberge's has had a rich career in the art of murals, stained glass,
sculptures, teaching, graphic arts, posters, and mainly painting to which he has exclusively devoted himself since 1980.
It is difficult to classify Theberge's painting... as first-perceived realism morphs into the surreal image. --Galerie D'art | 1179 rue Saint-Jean | Quebec City, Quebec | G1R-1S3
